What the audit checks

Six categories, each scored separately, roll up into one overall score. The weights are public on the methodology page.

Built for the way search works now

Most free SEO checkers were designed before AI answers existed. SEOuch scores the classic signals and the new ones side by side: whether OAI-SearchBot, Claude, Perplexity and Googlebot can read your page, whether snippets are allowed, whether your content is extractable without JavaScript, and whether an answer engine would find a quotable answer on it.

Every finding names an owner (developer, content or marketing), an effort size and an expected impact, so the report turns into a work list instead of a wall of warnings.

Questions about the free audit

Is the SEO audit really free?
Yes. The score, category breakdown and top issues are shown without any signup. The full report with fix steps and the action plan is emailed to you when you ask for it.
What does the audit check?
About 75 checks across six categories: technical crawlability, on-page tags, content structure, Core Web Vitals and Lighthouse performance, security headers and certificate, and AI visibility (crawler access, snippet eligibility, entity markup, citability).
How is the score calculated?
Each check earns points by severity, categories are weighted (technical 20%, on-page 20%, content 10%, performance 20%, security 10%, AI visibility 20%) and the overall score is the weighted sum. The weights are published on the methodology page.
Does it audit the whole site or one page?
This audit analyzes the page you enter plus site-level files such as robots.txt, the sitemap and llms.txt. The website audit tool crawls multiple pages.
Why does the AI visibility score matter?
ChatGPT search, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Copilot each read pages with their own crawlers and rules. Blocking those crawlers, disallowing snippets or hiding content behind JavaScript removes you from their answers even when your classic rankings are fine.
